Milevas

Can you recognize this woman?
The answer is most probably not.
Mileva Maric-Einstein was one of the most brilliant female physicians at the beginning of the 20th century. Originally from Serbia, she was only the second woman to graduate from Europe's top STEM institution - ETH Zurich. During her studies, she met Albert Einstein and the two later became married. Although there is proof of significant collaboration between the two on some of Albert's most important theories, Mileva never received any recognition at all. As the years passed, her genius slowly faded away into household chores and the responsibility of caring for two children as a single mother.
There are millions of women throughout our history of whom we've never heard. Their contributions have remained mostly unknown and this phenomenon has not yet ended. There are few areas where this is more apparent than in STEM fields.
That is why we dedicate this program to all the brilliant girls who are ready to fight for science and gender equality.

Who can apply?

Any girl looking to study a STEM field.
The program takes 5 students per year.
