CODE OF DIGITAL CIVILITY

Last Updated: January 1, 2026

At Equedu, our digital platforms and social channels are extensions of our "Institutional Integrity" philosophy. We are committed to fostering a global discourse that is intellectually rigorous, data-driven, and fundamentally respectful. This Code of Digital Civility governs all interactions across our Site and official social media presences (including LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and community forums).

1. The Principle of Intellectual Rigor

We encourage debate and the critical analysis of admissions trends. However, interactions must remain grounded in constructive dialogue.

  • Prohibited: The dissemination of demonstrably false information, "spamming" of predictive tools, or the promotion of unethical admissions "shortcuts" that undermine the integrity of the educational process.

2. Professionalism & Harassment

Equedu maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. Our community spans multiple continents, cultures, and demographics.

  • Standards: Users shall not engage in threats, hate speech, or the targeted harassment of Equedu staff, university partners, or fellow scholars.

  • Scope: This includes comments, direct messages, and the "tagging" of Equedu in defamatory or inflammatory content on third-party platforms.

3. Protection of the "In-Situ" Ecosystem

Our proprietary technology and research are built on trust and data sovereignty.

  • Integrity: Users shall not use Equedu’s digital spaces to distribute malware, attempt "phishing" operations, or promote unauthorized third-party tools that interfere with the In-Situ Engine.

  • Intellectual Property: Discussions regarding the In-Situ Engine must respect the IP protections outlined in our Terms of Use. Publicly sharing methods intended to circumvent our AI Training Prohibitions or Anti-Scraping measures is a material breach of this Code.

4. Representation & Digital Identity

To maintain a high-trust environment, we expect users to represent themselves honestly.

  • Authenticity: Impersonating Equedu staff, university admissions officers, or other users is strictly prohibited.

  • Endorsements: Users shall not imply an official endorsement by Equedu LLC without written authorization from our Office of Institutional Integrity.

5. Enforcement & Cross-Platform Recourse

In accordance with Section 6.1 of our Terms of Use, a violation of this Code of Digital Civility constitutes a material breach of our agreement.

  • Right to Terminate: Equedu reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate access to our In-Situ Engine and professional services for users who violate these standards.

  • Social Media Moderation: We reserve the right to hide, delete, or report comments on our social channels that violate this Code to protect the safety and professional standing of our community.

6. Reporting Violations

If you witness conduct that undermines the civility of our digital environment, we invite you to report it directly to our team. Email: contact@equedu.org
