1. The "No Guarantee" Principle (Standard Advisory)

Equedu LLC is an educational technology and strategic advisory firm. While our proprietary predictive models and expert consulting are designed to optimize application competitiveness, Equedu does not guarantee admission to any institution. Admission is a third-party decision-making process governed by institutional authorities over which Equedu has no control.


2. The Performance Tier & Fee Protection
For clients enrolled in our Performance Tier, Equedu provides a Performance-Based Fee Protection mechanism. This risk-sharing agreement is subject to the following definitions and conditions:

2.1. The 80% Refund:
If a student is not offered admission to at least one (1) institution on their Approved School List, Equedu will refund eighty percent (80%) of the total Tier fees paid.

2.2. Definition of "Admission" (Success): 

• An offer of Direct Admission or Early Decision/Action acceptance.

• An offer of Waitlist or Alternative Entry status (e.g., Spring Admission or Transfer Option), as these indicate the student was deemed "admissible" by the institution's professional standards.

• For the purpose of this guarantee, a "Successful Outcome" (rendering the fee non-refundable) includes:

2.3. Compliance & Audit Requirement: 
To maintain eligibility for the refund, the Student must:

• Adhere to all internal Equedu deadlines for essay drafts and testing.

• Submit final applications that match the "Signed-Off" versions approved by Equedu consultants.

• Provide official, unaltered rejection notifications from all institutions on the Approved School List within fifteen (15) days of the final decision.

3. The Subjectivity of "Holistic Review"
Users acknowledge that elite admissions utilize "Holistic Review." Decisions are inherently subjective and are influenced by:

• Institutional Shifting: Yearly fluctuations in geographic, legacy, or departmental quotas.

• Subjective Assessment: The individual discretion of admissions readers regarding personal narratives, legacy status, or athletic recruitment needs.

• Retrospective Modeling: Any "Chancing" or "Prediction" scores are statistical correlations based on historical data. They represent a high-probability estimate of competitiveness, not a prophecy of a future outcome.

4. Academic Integrity & AI Policy

• Authorship: The User is solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and original authorship of all application materials.

• AI Compliance: Admissions policies regarding AI-assisted drafting are volatile and institution-specific. It is the User's sole duty to verify and adhere to individual school policies. Equedu is not liable for the revocation of admission offers or academic integrity investigations resulting from the User’s failure to comply with university-specific AI disclosure codes.

5. Waiver of Consequential Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Equedu LLC shall not be liable for:

• Loss of Opportunity: Any claim regarding "lost" prestige or future career trajectory.

• Economic Loss: Loss of potential future earnings or past tuition expenditures.

• Emotional Distress: Any psychological impact resulting from a negative admissions decision. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE REFUND MECHANISMS SET FORTH IN THE USER’S SELECTED SERVICE TIER.
