Jacques Cousteau was one of the most important environmentalists, conservationists, explorers and scientists.

Cousteau's has left more than 120 television documentaries, 50 books, and an environmental protection foundation with 300,000 members. He is most famous as an oceanographer for he has spent a large part of his life researching, documenting and teaching about the sea.
